Building the Operating System Behind a Boutique Law Practice: Jenny Elliot's Professional Journey
Insights · Leadership Spotlight · A company profile from The Elliot Legal Group, P.A.
The Elliot Legal Group, P.A. recognizes the professional journey of Jenny Elliot, also professionally known as Jenny Dadacay, a University of Florida graduate whose work at the firm centers on one idea: a law practice runs on the quality of the systems around its attorneys.
Elliot joined the firm in September 2025 as Director of Marketing & Executive Operations. She is not an attorney, and her role does not involve legal advice, case evaluation, or the representation of clients. Those functions remain with the firm's Managing Attorney. Her responsibility is everything that has to work in order for that legal work to reach the people who need it.
Designing how a prospect reaches an attorney
Elliot led the redesign of the firm's prospect intake process. Under the Managing Attorney's supervision, she conducts the firm's initial, non-legal screening conversation with prospective clients — a call disclosed up front as a nonlawyer conversation, with no legal advice given and no document review promised — so that the Managing Attorney's time is directed toward matters the firm is positioned to take on. Each step of that process, from the first inbound call through scheduling and follow-up, has a named owner and a written playbook.
Business systems, not just marketing
Her remit covers the firm's operating infrastructure: the website and its search presence, the connection between inbound inquiries and the firm's practice-management records, automation across the firm's tools, reporting dashboards, and the weekly management rhythm that holds the team accountable. The goal is a practice where nothing depends on memory — where a lead, a task, or a deadline is recorded once and visible to everyone responsible for it.
Coordinating a distributed team
Elliot manages a remote operations and media team, including staff based in the Philippines, across intake, technical implementation, content production, and administration. She also led the firm's employer-brand campaign, The People Behind the Practice, which introduced the firm's team to prospective colleagues and clients in their own words.
Two organizations, one discipline
Alongside her work at the firm, Elliot serves as Systems Architect & Director at Kronos Capital International, where she is responsible for the fund-administration record behind each investor position. The two roles share a premise: a complete, accurate record is what makes an organization's commitments verifiable after the fact.
A connection to the Gator Nation
Elliot's University of Florida education remains an important part of her professional background. Her career reflects the application of university learning to real-world organizational challenges, and the opportunities available to emerging leaders who combine business education, operational responsibility, and entrepreneurial initiative.
