One of the most common legal tools that businesses use is contracts. A contract is a legally binding agreement that can be made between the company’s partners, between the company and employees, the company and clients, and the company and suppliers.

If one party fails to fulfill its obligations as stipulated in the contract, this is referred to as a breach of contract.
